The Train-the-Trainer course targets secondary school teachers, equipping them to deliver mental health sessions at school utilizing the curriculum developed by our centre.

This student workshop utilizes games and interactive activities to train secondary school students as mental health gatekeepers. The content includes recognizing signs of emotional distress and developing peer support skills. Gatekeepers also learn how to practice self-care through expressive arts.

This workshop trained secondary students to identify people with thoughts of suicide and connect them with adults who can help, such as school social workers, teachers, or community support resources.

This student workshop uses games and interactive activities to help children recognize signs of emotional distress and learn how to support their peers. At the same time, it guides them to pay attention to mental health and develop self-care skills.

This day camp enabled primary school students to develop active listening skills and the character to become mental health gatekeepers through various activities. In addition, afternoon activities, led by an expressive arts therapist, allowed them to learn the importance of self-care.

This workshop, led by our centre’s training consultant, Ms. Florence Cheung, allowed secondary school students to explore cognitive behavioural theory and common thinking traps through games and discussions.

Special thanks to Hong Kong Disneyland for sponsoring tickets and collaborating with our centre to organise the "Capturing Happiness with Best Friend Forever (BFF)" event. On that day, the secondary school gatekeepers invited their classmates to enjoy a day at the park. Through touring and taking photos, the students learned to build mutually supportive peer relationships and raise mental health awareness.

Special thanks to Ocean Park Hong Kong for sponsoring the ticket and co-organising the "Well-being Guardians at Ocean Park" event with our centre. This event allowed primary school students and their families to enjoy a day of bonding and strengthening relationships at Ocean Park. Following the event, we invited Mr. Ivan Wong, the CEO of Ocean Park Hong Kong, to attend the awards ceremony, where he shared the joy with the winning students and their families, encouraging everyone to prioritise mental health.

Representatives from project schools were invited to the dissemination to share the gatekeeper training’s experience in planning and implementing school-based mental health promotion activities.

We invited Prof. Annis Fung, an associate professor, as our guest speaker for our second universal parent mental health talk. It aimed to help parents understand the causes and impacts of bullying and provide practical strategies to prevent it.

We invited Prof. Sandra Tsang, JP, and Mr. Elvis Ng (Senior Social Worker) to deliver the talk. The aim was to help parents understand the causes and impacts of their children's internet addictions and provide practical strategies to manage and guide their online behaviours.

We invited the interested teaching staff from the project schools to attend the briefing session to introduce the project’s details, such as the project timeline.
